Bought this ring for my daughter’s birthday. Lovely quality and great service

Product is fine, but customer service awful and exchange process misleading.

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but my experience has been quite awful.

I spoke with a customer service agent at Norm, back and forth for over two weeks. I made sure to ask every question and get every detail (as someone who’s worked in customer experience for over 8 years now, I know how important this is).
As the product is quite expensive ($300+) I wanted to ensure I would be able to exchange it if it didn’t fit.

Sure enough, the product is too large and therefore I contacted the customer service team to request an exchange. I was told I’m best off just going to a jeweller in my country (Aus) to get it resized (that’s another $80+) rather than return it to Norm Jewellers as it will be too expensive (I made sure to ask about exchanges and not once did the customer service agent mention the cost of returning the item - or that I’d be required to cover the cost of the replacement item too). It’s standard for the customer to cover the cost of posting the item to the business for an exchange, however, it is quite unheard of to expect the customer to also cover the cost of the replacement item.

I definitely won’t be purchasing from this business again.
